The client says that authentication failed
Section titled “The client says that authentication failed”Confirm that the client is using https://api.zenodotapp.com/mcp and sends Authorization: Bearer <key> on every request. Copy the key again from the one-time creation screen only if it has not been saved; otherwise create a replacement key.
Sign-in succeeds but access is denied
Section titled “Sign-in succeeds but access is denied”MCP requires a linked Pro account with a current entitlement sync. Open the Zenodot app, confirm the account is linked and Pro, and try again after subscription status is available.
A cursor is rejected
Section titled “A cursor is rejected”Cursors are short-lived and bound to the account, grant, and request arguments. Repeat the original search or list call to obtain a new cursor.
The key has expired or was revoked
Section titled “The key has expired or was revoked”Create a new key in Settings → MCP access and replace the credential in the client. A revoked key cannot be restored.
